WTSC Quiz nights raises over £1000 for the WTSC Foundation

11/17/2016

Thursday 10th November will go down as an historic night for the Wine Trade Sports Club as we hosted our biggest quiz ever at the Star & Garter in Putney.

75 members of the Wine Trade came together to fight it out to be crowned WTSC Quiz Champion 2016. With teams from MMDUK, Farr Vintners, Lea & Sandeman, Bibendum, WSET, Armit Wines, Pernod Ricard, Chelsea Vintners and the WTSC Squash team the competition was bound to be hot and our ever-present Quiz master - Chris Porter, beautifully handled the evening with his mix of questions and indefatigable humour!

In the end the victors were (yet again) Farr Vintners who pipped MMD and Pernod Ricard to the prize thanks to a storming final round.

Special thanks must go to all those who kindly donated prizes for the raffle and of course to Farr Vintners for generously providing the wine for the evening. The wonderful list of prizes and huge turnout helped the evening raise £1080 for the Wine Trade Sports Club Foundation. Thank you to everyone and well done.

Final thanks must go to Chris Porter for his quizmasterliness and to our very own Lucy Marcuson who yet again organised and fantastic evening.

To sign up the Wine Trade Sports Club please visit the membership page, complete the form and payment and get involved. Only £20 per year and worth every penny.
