The Benevolent Golf Day

We are delighted to announce that the Wine Trade Sports Club will be entering 2 (part subsidised) teams into The Benevolent Golf Day. If you are interested in taking part and would like more information, please contact Nathan Last (njlast@gmail.com) to register you interest.

The Benevolent Golf Day 2015

Individuals and teams of four are again invited to join The Benevolent Golf Day on Monday 14th September at the luxurious Brocket Hall Golf Club, in Hertfordshire. The package includes a day’s play on the 18-hole Melbourne Course, which has been described as ‘one of the most beautiful courses in England’.

The Melbourne Course provides an enjoyable challenge in stunning surroundings, crossing the River Lea on several occasions as you follow the natural contours of the Estate, before a memorable finish in front of the Hall after a short ferry ride to the 18th green. The course is listed on The Top 100 Golf Courses of the World website and described as ‘a classy and stylish place to pay golf’.

The price per team will be held at £1000 for a four ball, or £250 for individual golfers. This includes:

  • Bacon butties and refreshments upon arrival
  • Shotgun start and green fees
  • Drinks at the half-way house
  • Champagne reception held on the terrace of the idyllic Watershyppes clubhouse overlooking the tranquil Broadwater
  • A sumptuous three course lunch served with premium wines and beers
  • Competitions and prize giving ceremony
  • Luxury prizes at the raffle
